#5 My TITA,My HERO

     

   What is a hero? What action does one take to become a hero?A hero is neither a soccer player who makes a score for his goal nor a boxing champ who had knocked out many elite boxers around the world.A hero is usually an ordinary person that did extraordinary things. A true hero is really never a hero at all; at least not in their own mind.

     A hero for me is someone who thinks about helping others and giving happiness to others.For me,no famous tv hero can be my hero.From my childhood years up to present,I have always considered my TITA in the shadows of Esperanza Moore as my hero.She did't sacrificed her life for us like any other heroes.She had always helped us without expecting anything in return.She is so kind and gentle.Whenever we are in need,she's always there to offer a helping hand.My tita had been raised from a poor family that's why she knows how it feels to have nothing.She is married to an american citizen who is a retired navy.Since I was in gradeschool,she used to send us balikbayan boxes containing books,canned good,clothes,chocolates and other things that we need.She never doubted on helping us.She was so passionate and kind-hearted.Recently,she donated books to my highschool alma mater.

     From her good deeds and undoubtful help,I have always considered her as my hero.She alleviated us from poverty and helped my parents to be financiallyy stable.She is really one of kind.One of the many heroes who is not seen in printed pages.
